Pourquoi faut-il organiser une réunion pour fixer le calendrier scolaire ? Why a meeting to set up the school calendar?

Le calendrier scolaire s’applique à trois établissements, à savoir le Lycée van Gogh à La Haye (niveaux primaire et secondaire), l’École française d’Amsterdam (niveau primaire), et l'International French School d’Amsterdam. L’établissement français de La Haye ne se situe pas dans la même zone que les établissements d’Amsterdam, or les dates des vacances scolaires aux Pays-Bas diffèrent selon les régions. Enfin, il faut planifier les vacances, et c’est certainement l’essentiel, dans le respect d’un rythme scolaire cohérent et équilibré, tout comme il faut les caler sur le plan de formation proposé par l’AEFE. Alors, une réunion s’impose entre tous les acteurs, afin de tout synchroniser.

Our school calendar is also valid for École française d’Amsterdam (primary), and the International French School in Amsterdam. Also, our school in The Hague is in a different area than those in Amsterdam, which means that the Dutch school holiday dates are not the same. School holidays must be planned in order for the year to be balanced and the training plan offered by AEFE must also be taken into account. Therefore, it is crucial to bring all the stakeholders around the same table.
